Job Description
The newly hired pharmacist will undertake a series of key responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the medication management system, which includes but is not limited to:
• Precise dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications: Dispensing medications according to a doctor’s orders to ensure each patient receives the correct dosage.
• Providing patient consultations on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions: Improving patients’ understanding of medication to enhance safety and efficacy.
• Reviewing and interpreting prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness: Conducting detailed reviews of each prescription to ensure they meet medical standards.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient drug therapy: Working with doctors and other healthcare staff to create and adjust treatment plans for patients.
• Conducting medication therapy management and health checks as needed: Implementing personalized medication management strategies and conducting regular health assessments for patients.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations: Responsible for recording and updating patient data to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
